Bela is a female Red Factor Congo African Grey. She chose me in December 2005 and it was love at first sight for both of us. Bela dreams of being the next big star. She writes her own lyrics and sings songs only she really doesn't need a microphone.
Bela is with one "L". I chose this when I found the following reference on the web:

March
Fiesta is my 7 mo. old, female, Military Macaw. She was laid in July, '07. Hatched in Sept and flew into Billings MT, from Oregon, in Dec. This picture was taken on a particularly warm day in March. What a thrill and learning experiance to raise a baby Macaw. Fiesta is so cuddly and talkative.....a daily source of entertainment...and a pal to my 4 dogs & 5 mules....with Tippy, my 30+ yr. old Blue Crown Conure merely tolerating her. She loves going outside with me to pitch hay and visit our mules.....and equally loves riding in the car to visit friends. This summer she will begin riding my mules with me.....and ride along on our many Wagontrains. What a big life we have ahead of us.

April
This is Samson. He is a 14 year-old Sun Conure who has no idea that he is a bird and has no interest when he sees another. He speaks well and his vocabulary includes, "Okay," "Look at that!", and his favorite, "No!".
He is potty-trained and can also wave, kiss and turn for a piece of cashew nut. He loves to lounge and watch TV while getting a nice foot massage. He is very opinionated, but also sweet, especially if he is getting his way.

May
This is Wasabi doing the “Sabi Shuffle”. Wasabi is a female Greenwing Macaw, 15 months old. Wasabi’s favorite things to say are….Hello, I love you, Step up, Whatever. She also laughs and blows kisses.
She acts just like a little baby and loves to roll over for a good wrestle.

June
This is Rex, our 4 month old male Blue and Gold Macaw, playing in our Peone flowers. Rex is an absolute doll and loves to cuddle and give kisses!

July
Poirot, our four year old African Grey, has recently taken up magic
in the fervent hope that he can eventually make Pringle, our six
year old cockatiel, disappear! (Possibly in favour of a rabbit?) Pictured here, yet another failed attempt. Perhaps he is just in need of the right words. After all, "Snap, snap
it's a crocodile!" and, "I'm gonna wring your little neck!" don't
seem to have cut it. But maybe one of these days.....

August
This is my one year old white bellied caique, Summer. He is helping
me in the kitchen, while I am cleaning and prepping fruits and
veggies. He likes to dive under the lettuce leaves and get soaking
wet. He has a limited vocabulary of, "Hey baby!" which he likes to
say repeatedly. He also chirps, whistles, and chatters non-stop. I
call him my full-throttle wind-up toy because he never stops
unless eating or sleeping in his tent.

September
Rudy is a 22 year old female Double Yellow Headed Amazon parrot that I rescued 15 years ago. She lives in Arizona with 4 other parrots and three dogs. Her favorite things to say are "Hi pretty girl" and "I love you". She loves to play on her jungle gym and isn't afraid of anything except for broccoli!

PRETTY BIRD AND SPIKE
COCKATIELS 3 YEARS
I ADOPTED PRETTY BIRD, THE GRAY COCKATIEL, FROM A PET STORE. SPIKE, THE PEARLED COCKATIEL, IS MY DAUGHTER'S BIRD. WE LET THEM PLAY TOGETHER WHEN THEY WERE YOUNG, AND NOW WE CAN'T SEPARATE THEM. IF THEY ARE NOT TOGETHER THEY CALL TO EACH OTHER UNTIL THEY ARE REUNITED. NOW THEY ARE BOTH MINE.

Our Five Loves
Here are our five Conure children; Simone (Jenday), Sunnae (Sun) and their three offspring, Precious, Hunter and Dactyl (Sunday's).
Each one is a bundle of fantastic feathers! Each one having their own vibrant personalities, their own way of communicating with us ("hello", "goodnight", "alright") and their own way of loving us, their humans. They range in age from three to nine years old.
